Styx and Foreigner to Release ‘The Soundtrack of Summer’

In coordination with their upcoming joint headlining tour, Styx and Foreigner have announced the release of a new compilation album, entitled ‘The Soundtrack of Summer.’ The album will be largely comprised of the two group’s greatest hits, and will arrive on May 6.

Dazzling LED screens, stage props and pyrotechnics were installed as a preemptive strike in order to keep those attending the show at the Maxwell C. King Center in Melbourne, Florida, actively engaged throughout the entire show; however for the full house crowd of dedicated fans who found their way to the venue, these additional elements instead served as memorable garnishes on an already awe inspiring performance.

Foreigner, Styx and Don Felder Announce ‘Soundtrack of Summer’ Tour

The three classic rock groups will hit the road beginning May 16th on what will be a spanning tour of the United States this summer. Don Felder, who penned a number of Eagles classics including “Hotel California,” will serve as the opening act during this tour, with Foreigner and Styx alternating as the closing band each night.
