In what was a highly anticipated collaboration, founding Kiss drummer Peter Criss joined metal icon Rob Zombie last night (May 10) at the 93.3 WMMR Barbeque in Camden. Zombie began the introduction of Criss by first expressing his disappointment and frustration regarding the ill-fated reunion attempt leading up towards Kiss’ induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
While the acclaimed entertainer has previously described the thought of releasing a live DVD as a “huge nuisance,” Rob Zombie will soon be bringing his unrivaled stage performance directly to the residences of his followers. ‘The Zombie Horror Picture Show’ will be released in both DVD and Blu-ray formats on May 19, and the official trailer for the upcoming effort has recently surfaced.
The idea of creating a live DVD has never been appealing to Rob Zombie, himself describing the thought of doing one as a “huge nuisance.” However his opinion has now somewhat changed, as the musician has announced plans to release ‘The Zombie Horror Picture Show’ this May.
The 2014 Welcome to Rockville Festival lineup has been announced, and boasts an impressive roster of more than three dozen acts from throughout the rock and metal music community. Such names as Volbeat, Rob Zombie, Motorhead, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn comprise the all-star cast of groups slated to perform during the two day event.
