Alice Cooper Places a Subtle Shock Rock Spin on The Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby”

As we previously reported, ‘The Art of McCartney’ assembles a prominent assortment of artists varying from hard rock icons to the latest pop musicians, with particularly emphasis placed on the former. In preparation of the effort’s November 18 release date, Alice Cooper’s take on The Beatles’ classic “Eleanor Rigby” has surfaced, which shows the undisputed King of Shock Rock respectfully straying close to the original version while introducing elements of his own approach.

Led Zeppelin’s live effort ‘Celebration Day’ is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. A number of this year’s finest releases by classic rock and heavy metal artists are being now recognized by The Grammy Awards.
