Two members of the rock supergroup Chickenfoot are currently considering venturing off and forming another separate project, more specifically a blues trio. Lead vocalist Sammy Hagar and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani are considering working in another group together while Chickenfoot and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith is busy working with the former.
Following the unfortunate loss of Ronnie Montrose in early last year, the entire rock community was devastated: so much so, that a commendable list of talent united together to pay homage to the guitarist who had been such a profound inspiration. Some of these musicians were Ronnie’s former band mates, while others were merely impacted by Montrose’s music and appeared to show support.
