Booked at the Inyo County Jail under this full name of Terence Michael Butler, the 65-year-old heavy metal bassist has been charged with misdemeanor assault, public intoxication and vandalism on Tuesday (Jan. 27). The arrest was issued following an altercation at the Corkscrew Saloon on the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley, California.
As Tony Iommi previously hinted, it appears as though the Black Sabbath flag will indeed fly once again, albeit for one last run around the world according to Ozzy Osbourne. The frontman has revealed that the band has plans to reenter the recording studio in early 2015 to begin work on their twentieth studio album, which will be followed by a final world tour in support of the effort.
Studio albums featuring the original Black Sabbath lineup, which includes lead vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward, were recently made available digitally for the first time in the United States via iTunes. Fans now have the opportunity to purchase the group’s first eight studio albums, two classic compilations, or the entire classic catalog in one bundle, appropriately titled ‘The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1978.’
