Guns N’ Roses’ acclaimed pair of 1991 double studio albums, being ‘Use Your Illusion I’ and ‘Use Your Illusion II,’ resulted in one of the most impressionable sales numbers for any veteran hard rock group around the time period of the Seattle music movement.
Maintaining the Guns N’ Roses alumni core of the band are members Duff McKagan, Gilby Clarke and Matt Sorum, however the group now prominently features Aerosmith mainman Steven Tyler, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Cheap Trick vocalist Robin Zander and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme.
Following a line of successful reunion performances with his former band in South America, it has been announced that Duff McKagan will once again share the same stage with Guns N’ Roses. The former bassist will join Guns N’ Roses during their upcoming appearance at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards.
Duff McKagan took to his Twitter page earlier today in a manner that suggested he would be returning to Guns N’ Roses. McKagan uploaded an image revealing two setlists comprised of both songs the former Guns N’ Roses bassist originally performed on, as well as tracks from the group’s 2008 studio album ‘Chinese Democracy’ following his departure.
