Following their acclaimed one-off reunion in 2007, guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones and drummer Jason Bonham were interested in continuing Led Zeppelin past the one concert at the O2 Arena. When lead vocalist Robert Plant was not interested in picking up the project full time, the rest of the lineup began actively seeking out another singer to take Plant’s position.

The 2014 Welcome to Rockville Festival lineup has been announced, and boasts an impressive roster of more than three dozen acts from throughout the rock and metal music community. Such names as Volbeat, Rob Zombie, Motorhead, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn comprise the all-star cast of groups slated to perform during the two day event.

The full lineup for the 2014 Rock on the Range music festival has just been announced, with some impressive rock and metal heavyweights making up the bill. Such groups as Slayer, Motorhead, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Label Society and Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin experience comprise the roster of this year’s event.

Alter Bridge fans can now pre-order the new studio album from their hard rock favorites. Alter Bridge previously announced that their new album will be titled ‘Fortress’, and is set for release via EMI Label Services on October 8th.

It has been three years since Alter Bridge’s last studio album, ‘ABIII’, was released in the US, but it is clear their fans have been waiting for them to return. Now the rock band plans on doing so later on this year, with the release of their fourth album.
