Bullet for My Valentine have to be one of the hardest working groups in the modern day heavy metal community. The Welsh force most recently completed an extensive North American run alongside Motionless in White, Lamb of God and Slipknot on the aptly titled Summer’s Last Stand tour, and that came around the release of their fifth studio album ‘Venom.’

Despite having just stepped off from that tour, Bullet for My Valentine have their sights set on another jaunt that will find it’s way across North America in early 2016. Bullet for My Valentine will be accompanied by Asking Alexandria and other special guests on their ‘British Invasion’ run, which is scheduled to commence on February 2 in San Diego, CA.

The ‘British Invasion’ tour will include stops throughout the United States and Canada, ultimately concluding with a show in Montreal on March 7. Tickets to these shows will go on sale to the general public on September 25.

The members of Bullet for My Valentine are expected to perform several tracks off of the newly released ‘Venom’ album, which the band have particularly shared their admiration of. “We’ve got massive hopes for this album,” guitarist/vocalist Matt Tuck told Kerrang! “We truly believe it’s going to be the biggest metal record of the year. We’ve had these feelings in the past and we’ve always been spot on, but this one feels way more special than anything else we’ve ever done, so, fingers crossed, it’s going to do what we want it to do.”

Asking Alexandria are actively working on new material of their own; the band is currently penning their first album featuring lead vocalist Denis Shaforostov. The bulk of the lyrics that had been conjured up by Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce had been specifically directed towards estranged frontman Danny Worsnop, however those ideas were later scrapped at the advice of Shaforostov.

Regarding how the forthcoming Asking Alexandria album will compare to that of the band’s earlier efforts, Bruce offers: “I think there are some huge arena-rock songs — just massive songs that I can just see in an arena just thousands of people singing every word from start to finish. So they’re not heavy, but they’re just great, great songs.” The guitarist also voiced comparisons between the new album and the electronic-influenced ‘Reckless & Relentless’ from 2011.
