With a budget of more than a million dollars, the music video for the Guns N’ Roses’ defining power ballad “November Rain” features perhaps some of the most memorable cinematography that has accompanied a rock song. A consistently revolving cast of scenarios are interchanged during the nine minute-long entry, which include a wedding, a funeral, a mock concert, lead vocalist Axl Rose playing piano in the middle of a desert terrain, and Slash nailing arpeggios during a blistering sandstorm.

Slash seems content to continue moving forward with his music career, having established a strong foundation with backing band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, however there remains a large number of dedicated rock fans who are aching for a classic Guns N’ Roses reunion. Such a longing is understandable to an extent, however even the virtuoso guitarist has a hard time picturing any future work that involves Axl Rose.
