Steel Panther are well known and beloved for their unique blend of glam metal virtuosity with parody. Now the high energy party rock group are back with a new record, ‘Lower the Bar,’ which puts Steel Panther’s prowess on full display through manic guitar licks and primal falsetto-spun vocals in the vein of the 1980s Sunset Strip era.

The members of active rock group Stone Stour make a great cameo in “Wasted Too Much Time,” the third music video from ‘Lower The Bar.’ The video features all members of Stone Sour in full glam metal attire and capturing the romanticized essence of this nostalgic power ballad.

The so-called “bromance” between these two bands extends back as far as the first Steel Panther record ‘Feel the Steel,’ where Stone Sour and Slipknot lead vocalist Corey Taylor belted out a few lines on “Death to All But Metal.” Now Stone Sour and Steel Panther are preparing to head out together for a co-headlining tour of the United States, which is set to kick off on September 24th at Omaha’s Sokol Auditorium and carry through until October 14th in San Antonio, Texas.
