Heavy metal legends Motorhead have a new studio album completed and currently being prepared for release this summer, and dedicated fans will even be able to catch the band on tour in support of the effort.

Motorhead have announced plans to launch their 2015 tour of North America in support of their upcoming album ‘Bad Magic‘ on August 19 with a performance Riverside, California.

The current itinerary (found below) shows the members of Motorhead making multiple appearances at the Riot Fest outdoor music festival that takes place in Toronto, Chicago, and Denver before winding up in Orlando, Florida on September 25.

Select dates on Motorhead’s upcoming run will show the band being accompanied by welcome heavy metal forces in Saxon and Anthrax, all of which leads up to launch of the acclaimed Motorboat Cruise on September 28.

The upcoming installment from Motorhead is already proving to be a knockout offering, based upon the familiar attitude found on the recently released rocker “Thunder and Lightning.”

As we previously reported, Motorhead’s twenty-second studio album ‘Bad Magic’ will be released on August 28 via UDR Music/Motorhead Music, and will feature a guest appearance from Queen guitarist Brian May in addition to a cover of the Rolling Stones‘ “Sympathy for the Devil.”
