Marilyn Manson has always utilized the music video as a medium to assertively gallivant a broad variety of captivating theatrics to entertain his audience (to much acclaim, might we add). The rock frontman’s latest presentation on surely is no exception.
“Third Day of a Seven Day Binge” is off of Manson’s new album ‘The Pale Emperor’ which arrived earlier this year, and is a concrete representation of the bold blues rock-inspired approach which he unapologetically explored on the effort.
Concrete chord progressions undoubtedly tailored for acoustic guitar lead the way on this melodic gem, while we find the Antichrist Superstar caught in the middle of a smoke-filled haze during the track’s new music video.
We find Manson alternating between acrylic silver face paint, a metal nose guard, and what we could only interpret as a maniacal scientist throughout the video, in what is surely another highlight in his catalog.
This music video arrives in the wake of Marilyn Manson’s ongoing summer tour alongside The Smashing Pumpkins, which is a can’t miss co-headlining run that is currently finding it’s way across the United States.
